Good capturing software that doesn't innovate

Apowersoft Screen Capture Pro, the pay version of Apowersoft Free Screen Capture, allows you to take screenshots of your computer screen and edit them if necessary.

A proper capturing program

Apowersoft Screen Capture Pro allows you to take screenshots any way you'd like: full screen, in a window, in a specific region... you can then take them and edit them in a multitude of ways. You can add text, shapes, lines, and arrows. Once you're done editing, you can save the image or share it across your social networks.

Compared to the free version, the Pro edition gives you more options: you can capture the sliding window, schedule captures, record the screen... and it even includes a bevy of advanced options for editing as well as capture.

In case your PC is a bit lacking in the space department or you're worried about local privacy, you can choose to upload captures to Apowersoft's cloud service.

In this sense the program doesn't really lack anything, but it also brings nothing new to the table to give it an edge over other capturing software.

Antiquated interface

Remember Snagit? If so the main interface will look very familiar seeing as how Apowersoft seems to have taken most of it's inspiration from Snagit. The editing interface is more of the same.

The main problem is that, if you compare it to the competition, the software's outdated design becomes more obvious. These inconveniences put it far behind its direct competitors: SnapShot, EasyCapture, Jing, and the previously mentioned Snagit.

Hard to recommend

If we consider it in isolation, Apowersoft Screen Capture Pro is a good program, especially when you consider its many capabilities, it's not really missing any. But its outdated interface guarantees you'll be in for a tedious time. We recommend you try the alternatives we mentioned previously before you give this a shot.

Apowersoft Screen Capture Pro is an integrated solution for people to capture, edit and share screenshots professionally.

This piece software mainly helps users in making snapshots for anything on screen with the support of 10 capture modes including all-in-one, window, polygon, whole-screen, menu, etc. Thus, it not only fulfils the essential requirement on capturing any region on your screen, it also lets you handles the screenshots of scrolling windows, webpages, menus, etc. There’re also the options for you to set delay in capture, include mouse cursor in making snapshots for demonstration or others. Moreover, you can set to activate the screenshot in image editor for further process or save it to local drive directly.
